Armored attack!: While the original North Star was made as a pro-allies, pro-Russian film during the war years, it was re-edited in 1957 and renamed Armored attack to serve as an anti-communist propaganda film. Shortened by 30 minutes and with added narration to emphasize the anti-communist message, it uses the basic plot of the original film of a small village (Ukraine in the original, Eastern Europe in the re-edited version) fighting against German invasion.
