Description
"Bickford Warner, a.k.a. Kid Blue (Dennis Hopper), is a bumbling turn-of-the-century outlaw who tries, unsuccessfully, to retire from his life of crime while trying to build a new life. He settles in a town of eccentrics that includes a married man (Warren Oates) who rhapsodizes about male companionship and the Greeks, a fire-and-brimstone preacher (Peter Boyle) who is building an "aero-cycle" and praises the Lord for his gifts of peyote, hemp and alcohol, and a sheriff (Ben Johnson) who's constantly on Kid Blue's case."--Container.
